He finally did it!!!! We have known that Taylan could roll over for almost two weeks now because we found him on his belly one Sunday afternoon, but he hasn't done it since, and especially not in front of us. Tonight, we once again found him on his belly, but he then repeated the act for his audience, and then once again on video! You now get the privilege of sharing in the momentous occasion.

Elora is potty trained!!!!!
I'm just so excited about this little, ok, HUGE accomplishment of Elora's that I had to share it with everyone else. One of my college roommates told me about pottytrainingbasics.com where you can buy an ebook for $17 that teaches how to potty train in 3 days. I thought it sounded a little unreal, but it pretty much worked! She is now wearing big girl panties 24/7 and has maybe one or two accidents a day. Today was day 5, but considering my doubts in the first place, I'm pleased with the results so far. I love having her tell me that she needs to go potty and then running into the bathroom with her so that she can stay dry. It is such a relief to know that we only have one child in diapers and that Elora will no longer have to suffer from diaper rash. It is definitely a big step for all of us, and I hope that it continues to work well for her.

Pics from August and some from September
In our last post, I promsied that I would post some pictures as soon as we got our camera back, so here they are.
This is a for-fun photo that we took one Sunday night to send to Cari and Darren in a letter.
Taylan has started to play with his wrist rattles. He likes to wear them just like Evelyn did, around his hand so that he can chew on them.
His favorite one is the duck because its beak sticks out far so he can chew on it better.
Elora loves to play in her room. She really likes to take all of her toys out and play in the empty tub. This particular day she put them all on the glider rocker in her room and started reading books.
This is a picture of Taylan at the Bergquist Family Reunion. We took his walker along so that he could sit up and see the world. He only knows how to scoot himself backwards, so we had to watch him around the stairs.
Elora was playing with her second cousin (?) Cole at the reunion. We pulled out the bag of toys we took on the trip to entertain her in the car and the two of them had a good time playing together. Elora is still learing to share, though. She kept saying that everything was hers and tried to take her toys away from him. We are working on that one.
Grandma with her two grandsons.
Elora with Aunt Anjali.
Sitting in her cousin Lane's chair.
Afriad to go down the slide at the reunion.
Trying it again.
Heading back into the lodge. Isn't it pretty there?!!! We love that it is located up in the mountains where we can all be together without disruptions. The stars are amazing from up there.
Visiting the kitties. Elora loved them. She kept trying to run off to go see them. We had to chase her down many times. She had to go say goodbye before we left that last day.
Petting the kitties some more.
Eating standing up. She could reach her food better. She was also very funny and started to eat the food that fell in her bib. We didn't manage to get a picture of it, though.
Feeding her baby on the way home from the reunion.
My baby sleeping on the way home from the reunion.
Picking beans with Daddy at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They stopped to watch a ladybug crawl on Daddy's hand before it flew away.
