Our Cute Kids

Our kids are so cute! I know that I'm so very humble, not really, but I'm a parent and I can say those kinds of things. They suprise us more and more every day with new things. Taylan has become such a smiley baby, that I joked the other day about calling him Guy Smiley! There was one day that Zach would walk into the living room, take a picture, show it to me in the bedroom, walk back out take another, show it to me, etc. Taylan was smiling in every one of the pictures he took! Elora has become quite the little mother. If Taylan spits up, she will go get a burp rag, come back and wipe his face. She also loves to talk to him to make him smile. My favorite thing of all is when she lays down by him and wants to hold hands. It makes me smile to see her show so much love for him.

Brian and Robyn's Visit

I know I'm a little late in getting these pictures posted, but I wanted to put them up just the same. Brian and Robyn came up to visit two weeks ago. During that time, we went to the nature park, and a car show. It was a lot of fun having them up and I really enjoyed the chance that Elora and Rivka had to play together. They got along quite well and seemed to have a lot of fun.

A Special Message

Our Little Man

This is the best picture we got of Taylan for his 2 month picture. Amazingly enough Taylan is now 2 months old!! My how the time has flown by! He is getting so big. He had is two month check-up yesterday and he now weighs 15lbs 7oz and is 24 1/2 in. long. The doctor told us that he is the size of an average 4 month old. It's true, too, because Courtney's baby Gram is 4 months and Taylan weighs more than him, but Gram is one inch taller.

Taylan is now smiling and looking at faces. On Monday night, we were at Mom and Dad's for F.H.E. and Taylan was staring at Austin Whaley for the longest time. All the kids started to laugh. The thing I like best is that Elora is so sweet to him. She will go up to him and talk to him and get him to smile so big! This afternoon Taylan was laying on my bed and Elora went in, lay down next to him and held his hand. It was so cute! I wish that I had my camera at the time.

Coming Home from Church

I'm a little late in posting these pictures, but I thought that they were really cute. On Sunday, the 31st, we walked to church, but since we don't have a double stroller yet, we tried to put both of the kids in the same stroller. It actually worked out pretty well. Elora was very sweet and put her arm under Taylan's head to help support it. They looked like they were cuddling in there together. On the way home, they both got sleepy and by the time we got home, they were basically both asleep. It was very cute to see. Elora is getting so good at taking care of Taylan. She is always concerned when she hears him fuss or cry. It has definitely been a blessing to have her start to show more interest in him. I can tell that she is looking forward to the time that she will be able to play with him.
