Aunt Heather taught her the name of Grandma and Grandpa's new piano, which is Kawai. While practicing saying it and looking at the letters on the piano, Elora said, "Where's the 'Y'?"
A few days later I was asking her if she wanted to go take a nap under her pretty new comforter and she started to insist that it wasn't a comforter but it was a Kawai. She definitely learned that new word, but apparently she didn't learn what a Kawai is exactly.
We actually bought the comforter to kind of bribe her to stay in bed at night. I thought that if she got to pick out her own, she might like it enough to stay in bed better at bedtime and not get up so much. It has worked quite well, so far. She definitely gets up a lot less lately. Grandma bought her the matching blanket this last Christmas. Suprisingly she chose the comforter to match. It is a brighter pink than it shows in the pictures.
