Our New Home

Zach thought that I should finally put up a new post since it has been almost three months from the last one.  I was waiting until we got internet in our home as well as pictures to post, but that's ok.  For those of you that haven't heard, we are now home owners!!!!  We bought our first home right here in Sugar City.  We are so excited to have our own place that we can do whatever we want with.  Our home has 4 bedrooms and 1 3/4 bathrooms, meaning that the master bath has only a shower and no tub.  I'm very excited about the 4 bedrooms because the kids are no longer sharing a room.  They are sleeping so much better now, even though we have only been in our home for less than a week.  I think that before they were always waking eachother up.  We are still in the organizing and unpacking stage, hence the no recent pictures.  As soon as we get things cleaned up and organized, we will post some pics of our home with our stuff in it.  We also have a yard.  We own about 1/3 acre of land.  There is already a garden spot, a clothes line, a swing set area, and a sprinkler system.  It is a split-level home, meaning that when you come in the front door, there are stairs going up and down, but no main floor.  It is set up a lot like my parent's home.

Here is a picture that the previous owners posted on a blog advertising the sale of the home.  Isn't it cute?!

Meeting Santa

We had our Ward Christmas Party this last Friday, and the kids had the opportunity to meet Santa. It was very interesting, though. Taylan had been a little fussy all evening, but when we put him on Santa's lap, he was content. When we took him off afterwards, he was fussy again. It is usually the other way around. It was fun for them. Elora asked for a Barbie. I don't think Taylan understood that part, yet. There was someone very sweet that took pics of all the kids on Santa's lap and gave them to us for free. I was very grateful since I forgot my camera!

Catch Up

I was just realizing that we forgot to add pics from Oct. and Nov. So here are a few quick highlights from then.  Sorry, when I uploaded them, it put them in a wierd order, and it takes too much work to switch them.
Our carved pumpkins that later were stolen.
 All dressed up for Halloween.
Playing with Grandpa's new Christmas train.  Taylan just loved it!
 All the Swainston grandkids.
Riding the Rokons with Uncle Ryan.  Taylan had the most serious face, but he was really loving it!
 Daddy going on a ride.
Going for a ride with Grandpa.
 Mommy and Elora.
 Elora with cousin Porter.
Elora and Taylan with their new found friend, Bailey.
Our pretty Christmas Tree after decorating it.
Daddy and kids with our snowman.
Mommy and kids with our snowman.

Well, I hope you enjoy them.  Sorry they are so late.  I'm not doing so well at keeping up with things, but I try.
